The series editors, Lisa Giombini and Adrián Kvokačka are pleased to report the following:
We’re thrilled to launch the new book series by the International Association of Aesthetics: Historical and Philosophical Aesthetics (HPA), published by Brill. This series is dedicated to pioneering scholarly works in aesthetics and the philosophy of art.
We invite proposals for monographs and edited collections on a wide range of topics and methodologies, from the fundamental principles guiding our engagement with art to the evolution of our aesthetic faculties and their links to politics, culture, and society. We’re also open to explorations in applied aesthetics and unconventional subjects, alongside traditional studies on the history of aesthetic theory and its central concepts.
Please send us your book proposal at hpa.brill.series@gmail.com.
Information on how to prepare a proposal can be found here: https://iaaesthetics.org/historical-and-philosophical…/
Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis and will be evaluated competitively.
We look forward to your submissions!
Please send your book proposal to the series editors, Lisa Giombini and Adrián Kvokačka, at: hpa.brill.series@gmail.com
